it is indeed a high priority on our roadmap to provide a vdk version that is compatible with QtCreator on windows!

Unfortunately, what is holding us back still is that a 3rd party library vdk depends on is not compatible with the mingw 5.x compiler used by QtCreator. Vdk code is already compatible with mingw, so, as soon as this problem will be resolved we'll make available a package compatible with QtCreator.

I also get an error just like from the post of simon. Is it now supported or i have no choice but to use visual studio to create a vdk application for windows?
